Recently, we listened to 94-year-old Green Cross Alcohol founder Gonzalo Co It (Chinese for number one) about his mission to get back his beloved company. While Co’s life is inspirational, having established the Green Cross brand, it is sad that he has to engage in a legal battle with his own siblings. Apparently, his siblings, whom he treated as his own sons and daughters, managed to register Co’s company under the same name but added Inc. and voila, the old man was completely left out! Co’s spiritually and belief in God keeps him hopeful that he will prevail in his quest. What makes the “mala-serye” family battle so unfortunate is a lady officer at the International Property Office, who apparently refuses to accept evidence from the complainant. Why? That is what this genteel gentleman of the “old school” wants to know and so do we!
